1. Account information
Wander uses your email address, account identifier, and sign-in information to provide access to your account. If you choose Google or Apple sign-in, Wander receives account information made available by that provider, which may include your name and email address. Your profile displays your name or email and your saved-place and collection counts.
2. Location and place searches
You can choose a city manually. If you allow location access, Wander uses your device's current coordinates for nearby searches and distance calculations. If you have already granted permission, the app may request your current location when it opens. You can change location permission in your device or browser settings.
Search text, selected areas or coordinates, and search options are sent through Wander's signed-in place-search service to Google Maps Platform to retrieve places, suggestions, photos, and reviews.
3. Saved places and collections
Saving a place stores its details, such as its identifier, name, address, coordinates, category, rating, and photo reference, with your account. Wander also stores your collection names and the places you add to them so they can be retrieved when you sign in.
4. Information stored on your device
Wander uses local device or browser storage to keep your sign-in session, selected city, and appearance preference. A temporary storage entry can remember where to take you after sign-in. Clearing app or browser storage may remove these preferences and sign you out; it does not delete your account or saved places.
5. Connected services and diagnostics
Wander uses Lovable Cloud for account access and saved app data, and Google Maps Platform for maps and place information. Google or Apple handles sign-in when you choose that option. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Requests to these services can expose connection information, such as your IP address, to the service receiving the request.
When an app error occurs, diagnostic information can include the page address, error message, and technical error details used to investigate problems. If you email us, your message and contact details are available to the operator handling your request.
For Google's practices, see the Google Privacy Policy. For Apple sign-in, see the Apple Privacy Policy. Opening directions or a venue website takes you to a separate service with its own policies.
6. Your choices and deletion
You can select a city without granting location access, change your location permissions, remove saved places and collections, or log out. Profile includes a Delete account option with a confirmation dialog. Confirming deletion removes the account and its saved places and collections from Wander's app records.
To ask about your information, request access or correction, or request deletion when you cannot sign in, email julien.wander1@gmail.com. We may need to confirm account ownership before acting. Removing your Wander account does not delete your Google or Apple account or information held independently by those services.
